Position: Supervisor, Plastic Molding Department
Pay Rate: $20 – $25 per hour
Shifts: 2nd or 3rd Shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead our Plastic Molding Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising teams within a manufacturing environment, with preferred experience in plastic molding processes. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the plastic molding department, ensuring production targets are met.
- Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and training programs.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or employee concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Preferred experience in plastic molding processes and operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and data entry.
