Medical Device Junior Contracts Support Specialist.
The Contracts Support Specialist will be supporting the R&D Contracts Manager. This job will entail the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit all agreements: (1) consulting both individual and institution; (2) prototyping (non-disclosure agreements); (3) amendment; and (4) miscellaneous outside contracts through RN (Request Navigator).
- Process Supplier ID requests for all contracts so the contracted entities can receive payment.
- Run all FMVs (Fair Market Values) for each physician. These are essential as they are required to request a contract and determine HCP compensation based on their CV and FMV score. Must be maintained yearly.
- Maintaining/archiving relevant health care compliance required documentation
- Run/compile all background checks for each facility, LLC, corporation, hospital, institution, university, or health care provider. Must run FDA debarment check, Office of Inspector General exclusion check, and systems for awards management. These are also required to request a contract.
- Confirm and obtain, if necessary, GO (Government Operator) release forms for physicians. All government employees (federal, state, local) must have release forms archived to be contracted per HCC requirements.
- Support the OUS (Outside United States) compliance requirements for contracts as needed. Each contract is subject to the country of origin’s regulations and health compliance and compensation governing laws.
- Request amendments to contracts – language change, budget, rates, date extensions, etc.
- Distribute all contracts/amendments for signature and remain the main point of contact for any redlines to contract language, acquire final signature/s from contracting entity, and submit
- Maintaining blank time records with necessary information on all contracts for business partners to use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2 years of general office and coordinating
- Experience supporting a senior-level manager or supervisor
- Extremely detail-oriented, self-starter, self-sufficient, conscience, sense of right and wrong, and moral sense
- Proficient with computers, MS Office and Excel, PowerPoint,
- Strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills
