What’s a typical day as a Fin Clipper? You’ll be:
• Performing routine fish identification duties under close supervision, including fin clipping, coded-wire tagging, and body tagging.
• Assisting the Lead and hatchery staff with quality inspections, trailer setup, and the transfer of fish from ponds or net pens.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee-used areas to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control in fish marking processes.
• Are able to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist with various tasks as needed.
• Are open to training and possess a willingness to learn new techniques related to fish identification.
