The Sr. Project Analyst (Construction Project Manager) is responsible for managing all phases of facility expansion and construction projects, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion. This role requires expertise in construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Sr. Project Analyst will coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of construction-related projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules for construction and facility expansion projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Oversee and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects to ensure compliance with project specifications.

  • Manage procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with quality standards.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations, including OSHA, EPA, ADA, and building codes.

  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, including cost tracking and schedule updates.

  • Lead and facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status reviews, and post-project evaluations.

  • Develop and enforce construction safety plans, ensuring all stakeholders adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage change orders, scope modifications, and contract negotiations as needed.

  • Utilize construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project) to track project progress and maintain documentation.

  • Support facility maintenance and infrastructure improvement initiatives as needed.

  • Ensure seamless handover of completed projects to facilities and operations teams, including proper documentation and training.

 
EDUCATION/TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or healthcare facility environments.

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, scheduling, and cost control.

  • Proficiency in construction software tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

  • Familiarity with LEAN construction principles, risk management, and value engineering.

  • Strong understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate with contractors and present project updates to senior management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CM-Lean certification preferred.

  • OSHA 30-Hour or equivalent safety training is highly desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead cross-functional project teams.

  • Experience in budget forecasting, cost analysis, and value engineering.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, PLM).
