We’re seeking a Machine operator to work at a premier food manufacturing company in Plant City, FL. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Shifts:
3rd: 10pm-6:30am
Pay: $20/hr
What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Taking total ownership of a dryer and ensuring its proper functioning.
• Completing the master sanitation schedule and mixing the next wet blend batch.
• Recording and completing paper worksheets and performing data entry tasks.
• Adjusting the machine settings to maintain production run rates and quality standards.
• Sampling the material hourly to validate material quality.
• Completing all transactions in SAP, including logging samples and accurate logging of machine start and stop times.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Have at least one year of food manufacturing experience (required)
• Are able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Are able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Are able to work with minimal supervision.
• Have basic data entry skills and knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Are able to perform basic mathematical calculations and operate scales.
• Are able to operate a forklift and have attended a forklift training course.
• Can safely dispense and use chemicals while wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
