Field Reimbursement Manager at a Leading Biopharmaceutical Company
Location: Texas (100% Remote, but must live in TX near a major airport)
Initial Assignment Length: 12 months
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

About the Role:
As a Field Reimbursement Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing field-based reimbursement activities for our cutting-edge therapies. You will have a dynamic role that involves conducting educational workshops, resolving reimbursement issues, and working closely with Patient Advocacy groups, Health Care Professionals (HCP) offices, Specialty Pharmacies, and distributors. Your goal will be to ensure that our therapies reach the patients who need them by securing adequate reimbursement and eliminating barriers to access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Reimbursement Strategies: Execute strategies to secure adequate reimbursement from third-party payers, Medicare offices, and other entities.
- Educational Outreach: Conduct field reimbursement in-services and educational sessions for healthcare providers, sales teams, and patient advocacy groups.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with payer and channel Customer Account Managers, field sales teams, and patient access programs to resolve reimbursement issues.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide monthly reports on activities, progress, and follow-up, and assess the reimbursement environment for new products and procedures.
Patient Advocacy: Work directly with consumer groups to provide reimbursement education and support, ensuring positive outcomes for patients and families.
What You Bring:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences, or a related healthcare field.
Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical reimbursement or case management, with a strong understanding of market reimbursement policies.
Preferred Skills: Previous experience with specialty product reimbursement is highly desired.
