Job Title: Regeneration Operator
Location: San Jose, California
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
General Information
We are seeking a Regeneration Operator who will play a vital role in plant operations. This position involves regenerating filtration resin, preparing mobile water treatment equipment for field use, performing quality control checks on mobile equipment, and fulfilling various plant operations duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regenerate ion exchange resins and other filtration media to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare mobile filtration units, including proper resin loading and conducting equipment checks.
- Utilize test kits, meters, and pumps to ensure all materials are ready for deployment.
- Operate forklifts safely to move and handle equipment and materials.
- Perform quality control checks on mobile units prior to dispatch, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Handle various chemicals (NaOH, HCl, NaCl, etc.) as part of the regeneration process, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Oversee chemical vendor offloading to tanks and manage chemical transfers.
- Other duties as required.
Work Schedule:
- Regular Hours: Thursday – Sunday: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Training Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM for the first 4-6 months. **Candidates must be open to overtime daily and on weekends**
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role or in water treatment operations is preferred.
- Forklift certification and experience with chemical handling are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality control.
