Pay Rate: $24-26/hour
Location: Richmond, MO, United States
Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible day time hours (for example, can work 8:00AM-5:00PM or 10:00AM-7:00 PM)
We are seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician to perform essential lab tasks, including executing quality control testing, analyzing and reporting results, and assisting in R&D and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing and report accurate results.
- Communicate findings with the Process Chemist and Plant Operators/Supervisors.
- Assist with R&D and process improvement testing.
- Prepare high-quality samples for customer shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab area.
- Manage lab chemical inventory and storage.
- Participate in safety and environmental training and suggest safety improvements.
- Report safety incidents and participate in investigations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in an analytical lab or similar role.
- Proficient in gravimetric and analytic techniques.
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing, with preference for thermoset polymer industry experience.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office; SAGE Platinum preferred.
