Kelly® Engineering has exciting direct hire Senior Industrial Designer position with an industry leader in the Scranton, PA area. Industrial Designer Responsibilities:
- Produce cutting-edge product concepts and design solutions with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, ergonomics and usability.
- Collaborate daily with Research & Development (R&D) Engineering and Product Management teams to develop new products
- Responsible for the aesthetics and ergonomics of new products
- Produce physical models for hands-on evaluation
- Produce computer models of concept designs for presentation, prototyping and production
- Design production-ready CAD models for various manufacturing methods including injection molding, casting, and carbon fiber process
Industrial Designer Requirements
- Experience creating innovative aesthetic and ergonomic concepts
- Advanced working knowledge of 3D CAD packages, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or similar software
- Understanding of production and manufacturing processes
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
