Kelly Services is seeking a Part-Time Medical Claims Assistant for a busy Podiatrist office, located in Lake Mary, FL 32746
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Location: Lake Mary, 32746 FL
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
- Shift: Flexible schedule, 16-20 hours per week
Job Summary
In this role, you will leverage your medical experience and expertise to handle and resolve returned claims efficiently. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a supportive and dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review returned medical claims for accuracy and completeness.
- Understand and interpret diagnosis codes.
- Correct and resubmit claims to ensure timely payment.
- Utilize EMR systems to track and manage claims.
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all claim activities.
- Stay updated with changes in medical billing and coding standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior medical experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in EMR systems.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding, including ICD9 and CPT codes.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
