We are looking for a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team and support the daily operations of our quality control laboratory. Responsibilities
- Optimize Equipment: Ensure all testing equipment is functioning seamlessly, performing routine upkeep, and addressing any issues.
- Sample Preparation: Skillfully prepare samples adhering to established procedures for precise testing.
- Conduct Tests: Execute a variety of tests using advanced equipment such as liquid particle counters, auto-titration instruments, and tensiometers.
- Data Analysis: Record, analyze, and generate comprehensive reports, communicating findings effectively to supervisors and team members.
- Maintain Order: Keep the laboratory clean and well-organized, ensuring safe handling and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Innovate: Assist in developing and implementing new testing procedures and protocols to enhance lab efficiency.
- Safety First: Participate in safety training and adhere strictly to established safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Associate’s degree in a science-related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with quality assurance testing equipment and tools, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended Periods: Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
- Lifting Capacity: Capable of lifting to 50 pounds.
- Laboratory Conditions: Comfortable working in an environment that may involve exposure to hazardous materials.
