Pay Rate: $33.08 plus 1.25 shift differential

What’s a typical day as a Test Technician? You’ll be:
• Performing all required tests on transformers, control box, and other components in accordance with established procedures and specific instructions.
• Developing and maintaining expert-level skills in testing controls and auxiliary devices.
• Troubleshooting failures and handling non-conformities per procedure.
• Performing basic preventive maintenance and ensuring a clean and organized work station.
• Calculating test data, recording and filing test result calculations, and analyzing final test reports.
• Moving and setting up transformers, assemblies, and auxiliary devices on the test floor.
• Documenting non-conformance and supporting troubleshooting activities.
• Creating preliminary test reports.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have technical knowledge and experience in testing power transformers and associated auxiliary apparatus.
• Are proficient in documenting and calculating test results.
• Have computer proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Understand electricity and safety rules pertaining to electricity.
• Have excellent communication skills and can collaborate with various departments.
• Pay strict attention to details and have strong report writing skills.
• Are able to work at heights with fall protection.
