Direct Hire: $115,000 Target Salary
JOB SUMMARY:
A technology driven company focused on global industrial water treatment solutions. This is a hands-on role that involves working in a lab environment and commercial site and will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of water and wastewater treatment plants. This engineer will work closely with the process and proposals team to develop practical solutions driven by experimental data through lab feasibility studies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts feasibility studies
- Operates lab scale pilot units for different water treatment technologies
- Perform analytical analysis on water samples
- Prepare test plans, test reports, and present to the internal/external stakeholders
- Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies and new pilot systems
- Support commissioning / on-site related activities where and when required
- Perform design calculations using membrane simulation tools, statics, and data collection software
- Developing new process schemes utilizing emerging technologies
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or relevant degrees
- Familiar in water treatment: chemical softening, membrane separation
- Familiar with wet chemistry
- Excellent analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
