Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Testing Scientist for contract-to-hire (temp-to-permanent, ~6 month conversion) position with one of our biotechnology partners in St. Louis, MO. Target Pay Rate: $31-34/hour
Location: St. Louis, MO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Responsibilities:
– Perform CLIA high-complexity lab tests following established procedures.
– Prepare and review technical documents, including validation protocols and reports.
– Conduct analytical validation experiments for assays in various development stages.
– Perform QA/QC on test results and data.
– Monitor QC through data trends, shifts, and delta checks.
– Manage inventory of reagents and supplies.
– Assist in developing biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases.
– Maintain accurate records and report results using MS Office and databases.
– Write and update SOPs, ensuring adherence to safety policies.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in chemistry, biology, or related field with 3+ years of lab experience.
– Experience with human biological specimens and biosafety procedures.
– Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Experience with immunoassays, chromatography, or mass spectrometry is a plus.
