At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Welders (Direct Hire) to work for an actively growing Aerospace Manufacturer, in Clyde, NY. With us, it’s all about finding the right opportunity for you!
Pay: $21-29/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Direct Hire!
Available Shifts:
- 1st 6:30am – 2:30pm
- 2nd 2:30pm – 10:30pm
- 3rd 10:30pm – 6:30am

What does a typical day look like for this position? You’ll be…
- Performing hand (TIG) and orbital welding on aerospace alloys (nickel, cobalt, stainless steel, etc.) for gas turbine fuel nozzles
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Assembling parts prior to welding and understanding fit-up and clearance requirements
- Conducting visual weld inspections, including under 10x magnification
- Sectioning and polishing hardware to evaluate weld penetration
- Using backup gases (argon) and demonstrating a strong understanding of weld terminology
- Utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, pin gauges, and comparators
- Meeting standard work requirements and completing additional tasks as directed by management
This job might be an outstanding fit if you…
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have completed an accredited welding training program (preferred)
- Possess 1-3+ years of TIG or MIG welding experience
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Exhibit excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
