Join Our Team as a Production Operator at a Leading Canadian Food Distribution Company in Ajax!

Schedules and Pay: 3-Shift Rotation:
- Day Shift: $22.00/hr, Mon – Fri, 7am to 3:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: $23.00/hr, Mon – Fri, 3pm to 11:30pm
- Midnight Shift: $24.00/hr, Sun – Thur, 11pm to 7:30am

What you will do:
- Operate packaging equipment, set up, perform changeovers, and make minor adjustments on the line equipment as per SOP.
- Perform procedures to start and maintain the operation of the line and complete safety checklists.
- Operate the IPC interface and/or online labelers.
- Ensure the machine is supplied with all appropriate materials needed in accordance with shop orders and replenish when required.
- Check and maintain good weight control, change weights, and document weight checks.
- Complete size changeovers as required.
- Maintain the quality of the packaged product in conjunction with acceptable utilization (quantity, quality) in accordance with Q.A. standards.
- Perform cleaning procedures and general maintenance, monitor, and alert appropriate personnel for required maintenance.
What you need:
- 3 years or more experience in food manufacturing operating high-speed machines.
- Ability to read shop orders with great attention to detail.
- Understands right-first-time quality.
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week and rotate across day, afternoon, and midnight shifts.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Minimum Grade 12 graduate and fluent in English, both written and verbal.
