Reach Truck Operator – Livonia, MI
Join Kelly® Professional & Industrial as a Reach Truck Operator at a leading packaging solutions manufacturer in Livonia, MI! Our client designs and manufactures corrugated packaging for the automotive supply chain, working with OEM assembly factories and tiered suppliers. Their solutions are sustainable, durable, lightweight, and cost-effective—critical for the industry.
Why You Should Apply?
- Competitive Pay: $18.00 – $18.75/hr
- Stable Work Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Saturday, 6:00am – 4:45pm
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Friday, 8:00pm – 5:45am
What You’ll Do:
- Safely operate and maintain stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.
- Complete and document forklift inspections before each shift.
- Locate and deliver stock to the appropriate machines in a timely manner.
- Remove finished goods from machines and organize inventory in storage areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using paperwork and computer systems.
- Assist with production duties during forklift downtime.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recent reach truck (stand-up) and sit-down forklift experience (2-5 years required) and recent experience is a MUST.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret factory instructions, tape measures, and perform basic math.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong references from previous employers confirming forklift operation experience.
- Must pass a hands-on practical forklift assessment and written exam.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
