Position: Sit Down Forklift Driver
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Franklin, TN
Job Summary:
Join our team at Kelly as a Sit Down Forklift Driver in a manufacturing environment. We are seeking candidates with at least 6 months of experience operating a forklift or a valid forklift certification. As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials within our facility.
Schedule:
- 1st Week: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- After the first week: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas using the forklift.
- Stack and organize products in designated areas.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing environment, or a valid forklift certification.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, including loading, unloading, and stacking materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
