Job details
Position Overview: Operate assembly machinery and assemble components into a machined valve body. Tasks include fabrication, installation, testing, packaging, operating production machinery, moving materials, reading micrometers and blueprints, using gauges, and visual inspections. Maintain records and take corrective actions for quality.
Shift and Bonuses:
- 1st shift: $15.50/hr + $0.50/hr attendance bonus
- Up to $1000 Retention Bonus
- Up to $1000 Referral Bonus
- Additional $1/hr per shift and $1.50/hr during OT
Essential Functions:
- Follow safety protocols and wear PPE
- Operate machinery and perform changeovers
- Assemble components into valve bodies
- Reset faults and perform visual inspections
- Perform lot control, tagging, and complete reports
- Retrieve and stock components, pack parts
- Operate pallet trucks and clean work area
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Manual dexterity, interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, basic math, technical literacy
Physical Demands:
- Stand up to 7 hours per day
- Walk 300 feet
- Lift 1-50 pounds at various frequencies
- Near vision capability
- Reach, bend, stoop, grip, push/pull as needed
- Work around machinery and wear ESD protection
