What’s a typical day as a Human Resource Assistant? You’ll:
- Process HR transactions and provide functional support for HR systems and policies.
- Deliver high-touch customer service through telephone, email, and face-to-face interaction, addressing employee inquiries about HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Maintain employee records, assist with onboarding, and ensure accurate data entry.
- Support recruitment activities, including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate information.
- Manage and organize employee documents, ensuring proper filing and retrieval of HR records.
- Coordinate HR meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 0-3 years of HR-related experience; customer service and call center experience preferred.
- Experience with HRIS platforms like PeopleSoft or Workday, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and system navigation skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, empathetic interpersonal abilities, and confidentiality.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, self-motivation, and multitasking capabilities.
