Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Quality Line Supervisor for our client in Stanton, TN. The Quality Line Supervisor will play a pivotal role in a startup environment, implementing and overseeing processes, and driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity within the manufacturing process. You will ensure that the production line operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently, ultimately enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Safety, Quality, and Productivity Coaching: Ensure objectives are met by following standardized work procedures.

  • Monitor Andon Occurrences: Act as the first responder for secondary support.

  • Process Confirmation: Verify the line is running smoothly, safely, and producing quality parts.

  • Continuous Improvement: Support and coach problem resolution at the lowest organizational level.

  • Communication and Recognition: Build capabilities of Team Leaders and Members.

  • Conducive Work Environment: Create a productive environment for teams to complete responsibilities and tasks.

  • Administrative Duties: Basic supervision and documentation responsibilities.

  • Optimize Throughput: Work within budgets and cost objectives to maximize efficiency.

  • Variation Identification: Identify sources of variation within the production environment effectively and efficiently.

  • Support Concern Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Suppliers to resolve issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis.

  • Flexibility to rotate to various positions within the plant (Production or Quality).

  • Assign and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, and throughput.

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Customer-oriented with a commitment to upholding the Quality Operating System.

  • Ability to work independently and support any shift in a 7-day work pattern.

  • Travel and Shift Flexibility: Significant travel during the plant start-up phase.

  • Leadership: Exemplary leadership behaviors with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
