Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator! Located in a fast-paced environment, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to our production processes while ensuring safety and efficiency. You will be working a 12-hour rotating day shift from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM ot 6 AM, starting at $18 per hour, with the added benefit of paid lunch breaks. Every other weekend off allows for a great work-life balance!

Job Specifications:
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Gurley, AL
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: 6 AM / 6 PM (12-hour rotating shift from 6 AM – 6 PM)

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Observe all safety rules and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
– Report all safety incidents, unsafe acts, and conditions
– Weigh and grade powder accurately
– Load and unload mills as required
– Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:
– High School diploma or GED
– Strong record-keeping skills
– Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
– Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

Physical Requirements:
– Must be able to climb a 4 ft. ladder
– Proficient in using power tools, chains, hoists, tuggers, and other equipment
– Ability to use both hands simultaneously while pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, lifting, stooping, and walking
– Capability to stand for long periods
– Good eye/hand coordination with all physical movements

Job Conditions & Hazards:
– Exposure to moderate dust
– Ability to lift a maximum of 33 pounds
