Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee project contracts and ensure excellence in execution. This role is pivotal in managing personnel, maintaining client relationships, and achieving business goals while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) of assigned project contracts.
– Assign personnel to projects in collaboration with project management.
– Foster personnel development and enhance team performance.
– Provide necessary standard tools and practices for effective project execution.
– Promote and monitor excellence in execution on ongoing contracts.
– Ensure the technical integrity of work and adherence to AIG best practices.
– Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, site visits, and phone interactions to understand project operations.
– Identify future client requirements and upsell opportunities through onsite assessments and project plan proposals.
– Fulfill contract and AIG requirements by clearly defining, documenting, and ensuring adherence to duties and responsibilities.
– Develop and adhere to the Site Business Plan by monitoring budgets, performance, and utilization, providing periodic reports for the site.
– Achieve business goals by hiring qualified candidates and effectively communicating job expectations.
– Enhance employee skills and performance by sponsoring and promoting training programs.
– Maintain a safe work environment through a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) program aimed at zero incidents.
– Conduct regular safety audits to validate progress.
– Manage multiple site managers and oversee multiple sites and projects.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
– Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
– Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
