We re seeking an Bid Coordinator to work at construction company in Rochester, NY, making outbound calls to secure bids. This temp-hire opportunity could be the one you’ve been looking for.
What s a typical day as a Bid Coordinator? You’ll be:
Working with Estimators to source subcontractors and request bids
Entering subcontractor information into a custom database
Coordinating the sending of blueprints to subcontractors
Entering subcontractor pricing into the database
Contacting mall managers and architects for information
Scheduling site visits and requesting digital photos via email
Tracking statistical data on subcontractors and jobs
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a professional and pleasant phone manner and are comfortable making outbound calls
Possess strong computer skills, typing/data entry experience, email, and internet experience
Have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with deadlines and in a team environment
Temp-hire 8-5:00pm M-F 18-19/hr based on experience
