What’s a typical day as a Production Operator I? You’ll be:
- Reading and following manufacturing order instructions for mixing ingredients
- Loading ingredients into a mixer, blending, and transferring mixed batches to the next process
- Processing mixing batches through extrusion equipment and ensuring product quality
- Managing and transferring finished products through polishing and finishing processes
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have one or more years of recent manufacturing experience within a production environment
- Possess previous experience in mixing, extrusion, batching, polishing, and finishing (training available for those lacking in certain areas)
- Are capable of using various hand-held tools such as RF scanners and hand trucks
- Can occasionally lift or move up to fifty-six pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Have good English and Math skills, and can read, write, and interpret relevant documents
- Are willing and able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
