Kelly Services’ customer, an established manufacturing firm in heavy machinery based in Mississauga, Ontario is currently looking to hire a Direct Permanent placement of Production Control Specialist.

Responsibilities:
• Work within Microsoft AX to create items, production orders, and schedules.
• Ensure accuracy by reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routes before scheduling jobs.
• Collaborate with purchasing to confirm bought-out items align with production schedules.
• Monitor manufacturing progress to ensure delivery dates are met.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and accuracy in AX.
• Validate material and component allocations in AX and Item 360.
• Schedule orders to maintain optimal levels of work in progress.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., planning, purchasing, or expediting).
• Proven background in production control.
• Strong computer skills with experience in ERP systems; Microsoft AX experience is a plus.
