Job Posting: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Romeoville, IL 100% onsite
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
Kelly Services is currently partnering with a premier manufacturer and distributor in Romeoville, is seeking a detail-oriented and challenge-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a company committed to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post customer invoices, including credit and debit notes
- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices
- Investigate and address customer queries and concerns
- Post daily cash receipts and apply them to customer accounts
- Maintain customer records, including sales tax resale certificates
- Assist with audits as required
- This position is primarily responsible for billing and cash applications, but will eventually cross train to back up in the Credit, Collections and Accounts Payable areas
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years billing and accounts receivable from a manufacturer or distributor
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with MS Dynamics or similar ERP system
- Proficiency with Power BI a plus
- Experience preparing sales tax certificates a plus
- Experience with G/L account reconciliation a plus
