Job details
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Manufacturing Process Technician to join our team in Juncos, PR. Under direct supervision, you will perform essential processes in the manufacturing area according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position requires flexibility, as you must be available for various shifts, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 12-hour shifts.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $12.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Set up and prepare equipment for operation.
- Support internal operations, including stocking items, autoclaving, and tracking inventory.
- Assist in manufacturing operations, including preparing media and buffers.
- Dispense raw materials and record transactions in appropriate systems.
- Potentially operate process automation and building monitoring systems.
- Act as a safety representative when needed.
- Understand and follow established procedures.
- Document activities using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and comply with cGMPs and safety requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic knowledge of technical/functional procedures related to the manufacturing area.
- Familiarity with routine activities associated with the position.
- Ability to perform various assignments, including lab support procedures and operating specialized equipment.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, including fact-finding and data verification.
- Ability to recognize when deviations from accepted practices are required.
- Competence in basic computer operations (MS Office, email, CBT training).
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in performing assignments.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a GMP or other regulated environment is preferred.
