At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Production Laborers to join our innovative manufacturing team in Scottsville, NY. No experience required. If you’re looking for a stable job with room for growth, this is the opportunity for you!
Pay: $18.50-19.45/hr. Direct Hire!
- Enjoy the opportunity for pay increases (up to $23/hr.) and benefits eligibility after 90 days of employment.
Schedule: A Shift (6am to 4pm, Mon-Thurs) or B Shift (2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri).
- B Shift applicants must be able to train on A Shift for the first month.
- Paid Lunch Breaks Included!
Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for handling materials, operating machinery, and assisting in various production tasks within our facility. The position requires a strong focus on safety and teamwork, as well as the ability to perform physical labor in an industrial environment. With on-the-job training provided, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in production.
Essential Duties:
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials into furnaces, kettles, and other equipment.
- Operation of Equipment: Operate forklifts, tow motors, and other machinery.
- Manual Labor: Shovel, screen/filter materials, and add chemicals as needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety practices, including wearing PPE, and follow MSDS/SDS guidelines.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the workplace clean and safe, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.
- Quality Control: Measure and test samples as required.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members, cross-train, and assist as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- No prior experience needed; on-the-job training will be provided.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be clean-shaven (or able to pass fit testing to wear a respirator).
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, crawling).
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment that includes exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise levels.
