Location: Fort Washington, PA
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Shift: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (6:15 PM – 6:30 AM)
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include operating, troubleshooting, setting up, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment. This position follows a structured 12-hour shift schedule designed to promote work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute diverse tasks including process monitoring and execution to guarantee product quality and optimize manufacturing throughput.
- Perform manual operations such as feeding, dispensing, charging, mixing, sorting, inspecting, assembling, and picking materials.
- Operate advanced manufacturing and packaging equipment while ensuring a consistent supply of components.
- Accurately complete all documentation requirements, including SAP transactions and batch records.
- Conduct thorough final checks and verifications as outlined in standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage the ordering and receipt of materials, ensuring proper identification and usage.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of relevant manufacturing experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Availability to work Night Shifts and weekends as required.
- Previous experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Production Automation Systems (e.g., Wonderware, MES, SAP) is highly desirable.
