Position: Inventory Clerk
Pay Rate: $18 – $21 per hour
Location: Lewisburg, TN Distribution Center
Role Summary:
We are seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team, responsible for improving inventory accuracy within the Lewisburg, TN Distribution Center in collaboration with the inventory control team. The ideal candidate will research inventory discrepancies and determine their root causes, providing valuable feedback to the Inventory Supervisor to help reduce transactional errors.
General Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing physical inventory.
- Support cycle counters with 6S audit issues.
- Research and resolve transactional difference indicators from the previous day.
- Locate items on the Short Order report and apply necessary posting changes.
- Perform root cause analysis for cycle count discrepancies.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and resolve bin-level inventory issues.
- Escalate plant-level inventory adjustments to the Inventory Supervisor.
- Provide daily reports of actions and recommendations to the Inventory Supervisor using a specified template.
- Ensure excellent customer service when interacting with other companies and customers, promoting positive interactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and proactive mindset.
- Effective communication abilities at all levels.
- Team player, willing to collaborate with others on projects.
