Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm

What’s a typical day as a Processing Specialist? You’ll be:
- Processing insurance documents accurately and timely to ensure proper coverage for homeowners and achieve client satisfaction goals
- Identifying policy types and determining the appropriate actions needed
- Making timely premium payments from established escrow accounts to ensure continuous coverage
- Managing time effectively to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
- Communicating and coordinating with insurance agents and carriers to verify information, update status, and meet deadlines/requirements
- Demonstrating professionalism in all communications, acting in a manner consistent with Assurant values, and honoring Assurant’s commitments
- Addressing any questions, concerns, or suggestions in a timely and appropriate manner
- Building and maintaining effective internal working relationships and supporting teamwork to meet company goals
- Understanding how the Processing Specialist role fits into the larger organizational context and ensuring the smooth handoff of work
- Communicating status updates and appropriately escalating issues and opportunities to meet the needs of clients and homeowners
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Possess basic computer skills
- Have a minimum of one-year work experience
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt well to change
- Experience in banking, finance, or mortgage lending
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in an environment focused on production and quality
