Job Overview:
As part of our Talent Pipeline, the R&D Cell Culture Scientist will play a vital role in driving forward innovative research by designing, optimizing, and performing cutting-edge cell culture experiments. This position focuses on maintaining cell lines, refining processes, and collaborating with dynamic, cross-functional teams to achieve critical scientific objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize cell culture systems for a wide range of R&D projects.

  • Maintain and culture both mammalian and microbial cell lines, ensuring optimal growth and health.

  • Perform essential tasks including media preparation, passaging, and cell harvesting.

  • Develop and refine protocols to ensure efficient and reproducible cell culture processes.

  • Conduct experiments to evaluate factors influencing cell growth, differentiation, and overall productivity.

  • Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate cell culture data into broader research initiatives.

  • Analyze experimental data and contribute to research reports, presentations, and publications.

  • Support the scaling-up of cell culture processes for clinical or commercial applications.

  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety standards and industry regulations.

  • Stay current on the latest advancements in cell culture technology and apply them to ongoing research efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.

  • Proven expertise in cell culture techniques, including mammalian and microbial cell lines.

  • In-depth understanding of cell biology, media preparation, and maintaining sterile technique.

  • Familiarity with high-throughput screening, flow cytometry, PCR, and microscopy is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cell culture issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong team-oriented approach.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP, GLP) is a plus but not required.
