Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $28 – $33 p/hr

What’s a typical day as a Machine Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
• Installing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining heavy-duty and highly complicated precision machine tools and equipment
• Diagnosing machine malfunctions and operating difficulties and effecting repairs and adjustments
• Rebuilding machines and overhauling troublesome components and attachments
• Completing installation and setup of CNC or manual machinery
• Working closely with machine operators to ensure equipment is operating as designed
• Troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Performing basic welding and fabrication of parts as needed for repairs
• Performing machinist’s work related to the installation and relocation of machines
• Supporting the development of Preventative Maintenance plans
• Performing general maintenance activities on building infrastructure as required
• Complying with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma and preferably an Associate degree in industrial maintenance
• Have a minimum of three (3) years as a CNC maintenance technician or 8 years in machine maintenance with experience in machine repair, pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Have experience with CNC controls, PLC’s, and servo drives
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Have basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
• Are proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
• Have knowledge of electrical infrastructure
• Have the ability to read and interpret documents and prints
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
• Are flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Are reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice
• Have experience in a Lean manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Are a team player with excellent communication skills and high ethical standards
• Have the ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize strong mechanical and electrical skills
