At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we are currently seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to join our team at a reputable winery in Canandaigua, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical maintenance experience who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. If you are skilled in equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance in an industrial setting, we want to hear from you!
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $26.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead machinery troubleshooting and document repairs made.
- Identify and report the need for repairs to the Maintenance Team Lead.
- Replace or repair defective parts; reassemble equipment and test for conformance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls; disassemble malfunctioning equipment and examine/test mechanisms.
- Perform calibration and equipment testing to ensure functioning within specified standards.
- Interpret technical documents such as manuals and prints.
- Maintain constructive cross-functional relationships and work on continuous improvement opportunities.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- 5+ years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience OR an Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Maintenance and Repair with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing, production, or an industrial mechanical environment.
- Ability to lift and carry tools/equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Must provide own basic hand tools.
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook at a basic level.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interpret technical instructions.
- Available to work assigned shift and overtime as needed, including weekends.
