We are currently seeking a Medical Claims Specialist that is pursuing a career in healthcare administration for our client located in North West Houston, TX 77092 , near 290 & 610 ! Could that be you?
Schedule: mon to fri 8am-5pm
Pay: $20 hr
Temp-hire onsite
Do you meet the Requirements?
- Have 2-3 yrs Medical Claims experience as a Claims Representative in a call center environment
- Understanding and knowledge of medical terminology
- seeking career growth within healthcare administration
- have been in current or previous roles for 2 or more yrs
- Have utilized technology within the healthcare/ medical field
- has experience with customer service and patients
Job Description :
– Configure and build an internal SQL data store for ongoing claims data replication.
– Manage the transfer process of historical claims data from the current claim vendor.
– Develop and implement backup extracts and protocols to support ongoing claims operations.
– Create a data dictionary for the new SQL database ensuring data accuracy and security.
– Develop SQL extracts according to new claim vendor specifications for historical data loading.
– Implement reporting necessary for IPA claims operations and delegated reporting responsibilities.
– Collaborate with senior leadership to define and produce claims-based utilization and financial performance reporting.
– Maintain a positive and professional environment through effective customer service interactions.
– Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
