Kelly® is hiring Sanitation Workers at a premier food manufacturing client in Seattle, WA.
Choose $22 -$25 per hour 1st shift 7 am to 3:30 pm M-F or $22-$27 per hour, 3rd shift 9 pm to 5:30 am Sunday-Thursday (some OT on Fridays)

What’s a typical day as a Sanitation Worker?
Plant produces a wide variety of syrups and sweet sauces
• Operation of high-speed filling, and packaging equipment and manual pallet jacks
• Knowledge of using pH strips and other various testing kits, as applicable
• Daily cleaning: tanks, pipes and equipment, (CIP and COP) and floors
• Cleaning duties as set out on the master sanitation schedule for floors, drains, walls perimeters in the plant and warehouse as required to meet company, customer and government standards
• Maintain all sanitation documents in accordance with plant quality and safety requirements
• Safe handling of chemicals
• Careful use of water so equipment is not damaged
• Removal and emptying of production garbage and debris
• Documentation of chemical usage

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Can lift 50 pounds repeatedly and walk, bend, stoop, stand, push and move throughout shift, as well as climb stairs
• Have experience in the food production industry and have knowledge of food manufacturing sanitation requirements (preferred)
• Have good organizational skills with the ability to work unsupervised
• Have prior experience with GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Can read computer printouts and record information
• Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with constantly evolving roles and responsibilities
• Have a GED or HSD
