Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Pay: $20-30/hr based on experience

This position is ONSITE in Marysville, OH, must be able to commute to Marysville, OH

What’s a typical day as a Collection Administrator? You’ll be:

  • Maintaining current collection of vintage Honda and Acura vehicles, motorcycles, and power equipment products

  • Scheduling service, cleaning, maintenance, and the transportation of collection products

  • Maintain events schedule

  • Liaison with internal and external groups on tours and visits

  • Assist in executing public and internal events including bi-monthly Cars, Bikes and Coffee Events

  • Maintain digital media within collection space and keep production schedule to maintain fresh content

  • Coordinate internal meetings on new AHM Collection displays and execute change out of vehicles

HHC Display Caretaking-20%

  • Daily walkthrough inspections

  • Adjusting/repairing display elements such as stanchions, signs, etc.

  • Noting and coordinating other repair and cleanings needs with internal and external vendors such as Facilities, IT and Penske

  • Noting and coordinating with Penske to address any vehicle issues such as tire pressures and fluid leaks

  • Coordinating with Penske and Facilities for moving vehicles and other display elements in and out of display area

HHC Tours & Daily Interactions-30%

  • Hosting internal and external groups and providing formal tours

  • Coordinating the use of multi-purpose room for internal and external entities

  • Interacting with guests who visit Heritage Center during the week, answering questions and providing information about shows and events

  • Conducting merchandise sales

Vehicle Maintenance & Logistics- 5%

  • Coordinating with Penske on vehicle, display, and equipment storage

Administrative Work-25%

  • Coordinating with HHC tours and vehicle loans

  • Answering HHC email correspondence and providing information

  • Posting to HHC social media channels and responding to queries

  • Coordinating with show and event vendors

  • Arranging the production and purchase of signs, flyers and other promotional materials

Show and Other Event Work-15%

  • Coordinating with organizers and vendors to create events at HHC and to participate in external events

  • Preparatory work for shows and events (gathering and staging vehicles, canopies, flags, etc.)

  • Set up and tear down of display elements

  • Guest interactions

  • Brand ambassador coordination (ensuring ambassadors rotate through tasks)

  • Special activities (parades, competitions, etc)

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • General knowledge and interest of the automobile and motorcycle industries

  • Familiarity with the mechanical/technological aspects of automobiles

  • Be familiar with and able to conduct general automobile maintenance (batteries, tires, fluids) and use tools (hand tools, jack, compressor, battery charger)

  • Be able to drive a wide range of automobiles, including those with a manual transmission

  • Be physically able to move around heavy objects (pushing cars and motorcycles)

  • Independent thinker/worker who recognizes opportunities and problems and seeks to take advantage of or correct them

  • Collaborates and works well with others to accomplish goals

  • Well organized and can effectively schedule activities

  • Be able to occasionally work unconventional hours  (1 Saturday a month)

Experience

  • 1-3 years’ work experience

  • Education level: high school diploma or equivalent

  • Familiarity with general automobile and motorcycle maintenance
