Mechanical Engineer
If you are ready to work with a growing company on exciting projects at an industry leader than Kelly Services has an opportunity for you as a Mechanical Engineer, in Camarillo, CA. Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who has experience with Motors and rotating machinery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems and components for aerospace applications, with a focus on motor systems and rotating machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for propulsion and rotating machinery systems.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.

- Testing and Evaluation:
- Plan, conduct, and oversee tests on prototypes and production models to ensure they meet the required specifications and industry standards.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design enhancements and improvements.

- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring timely delivery within budget and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to ensure the production of high-caliber components.

- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all designs comply with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design reports, test plans, user manuals, and compliance certifications.

Requirements and Education:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the aerospace industry.
- Proven experience with motor systems and rotating machinery, including both electric and conventional propulsion mechanisms.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the aerospace industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of propulsion systems, motor technologies, rotating machinery, and thermal management.
- Familiarity with aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
