We’re seeking a Metal Quality Inspector to work at a premier Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Brea, CA. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $20-$30 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift/Schedule: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
Must be able to work occasional Saturdays and overtime

What’s a typical day as a Metal Quality Inspector? You’ll be:
- Conducting dimensional, visual, and mechanical property inspections of parts throughout various stages of manufacturing up to and including final acceptance.
- Using various gages and inspection equipment to determine conformance to requirements, including pin gages, micrometers, drop gage indicators, calipers, hardness testers, tri-rolls, optical comparators, and other necessary equipment.
- Visually inspecting sample parts, documenting results on applicable quality documentation, and actively participating in continuous improvement activities.
- Training other inspectors and working with minimal supervision to independently perform the job in its entirety.
- Communicating job status and relevant information to coworkers, completing assigned tasks and special projects, and observing all safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have 2 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in metal products.
- Experience in Aerospace manufacturing is highly preferred
- Are familiar with and experienced in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and basic hand tools.
- Are familiar with hand tools both manual and power
- Have visual acuity for detailed work and can lift 50 pounds occasionally.
- Are comfortable working in an non-climate control environment.
- Have good communication and basic math skills.
- ITAR compliant
