Laboratory Analyst
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for a 6-month contract position at a premier biotech company in Lodi, CA. If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.
Pay Rate:
$25-30/hour
Overview:
This client is an industry-leading medical device company focused on delivering scalable, groundbreaking solutions in molecular diagnostics. In this role, you’ll be working with colleagues to identify, research, and analyze groundbreaking discoveries to help innovate the world’s scientific future.
Schedule:
Wednesday to Saturday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Support the Bulk Buffer, Reagents, and Bead production laboratories by following good documentation practices (cGDP) and relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform various analytical test methods.
- Work in a high-paced dynamic production laboratory.
- Implement improvement ideas in the lab to positively affect production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associates in Science-related degree OR High School Diploma with 1-2 years of related work experience
- Must be able to follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), FDA, and ISO standards.
- Must be able to follow direction, able to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate understanding through speech and/or written form.
- Experience using analytical scales, pH, density, Conductivity and UV Spectrophotometers, Lyophilizer, Molecular assays, and working with hazardous chemicals preferred.
