Job Title: Warehouse Records Clerk
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday through Friday)
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Location: Aurora, CO
Duration: Temporary ( End of March)
The Record Center Specialist (RCS) is responsible for maintaining and processing physical assets stored in the Records Center. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing orders, managing the movement of boxed items and wheeled bins, and completing various internal projects such as permanent withdrawals and special assignments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process daily incoming and rush work orders from Client Services by scanning carton barcodes and locations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in incoming or outgoing orders; prepare manifests, bundle orders, and organize shipments.
- Scan and tag all incoming containers, files, and tapes; report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Facilitate client on-site record reviews.
- Retrieve and file records, containers, and tapes according to operational timelines:
- Files: within 48 hours of receipt.
- Containers and tapes: within 24 hours of receipt.
- Files: within 48 hours of receipt.
- Load and unload company trucks and vans as required.
- Maintain timely communication between scanners and assigned work orders.
- Perform racking and row maintenance to ensure a tidy and functional workspace.
- Prepare accurate paperwork and report difficult order issues to the manager.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, including scanners and record center vehicles.
- Conduct audits as scheduled or requested.
- Follow safety procedures, ensuring that containers and lids are secure, debris is cleared from floors, and safety concerns are promptly reported.
- Communicate potential issues to the supervisor, including client-related challenges or job-specific obstacles.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Notify the manager of any immediate issues, such as customer complaints or operational concerns.
- Participate in safety and security drills; report violations or concerns.
- Understand and adhere to your defined role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Report accidents or injuries immediately to your supervisor.
- Travel between facilities as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet goals.
- Work overtime when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or service industry environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pick lifts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when completing paperwork.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to routinely lift and move 20-50 pounds (handling 100-400 containers daily).
- Frequent bending, stretching, and overhead reaching.
- Routine pushing, pulling, and maneuvering of boxes and pallet jacks.
- Operation of forklifts and pick lifts.
- Ability to climb stairs and use tools to manage materials effectively.
