Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing manufacturer, is looking for a Set-Up Associate in Indianapolis, IN (46222). 

This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!

Benefits:

  • 120 hours of vacation, 40 hours of PTO and eight paid holidays!

Details:

  • Pay Rate: $17 per hour

  • Hours: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday

Job Description:

  • Safely operates manufacturing equipment. Implements and follows ISO procedures.

  • Assists in the training of new associates and keeps production area clean.

  • Follows all safety procedures. Performs tool installation, verification, adjustments, and removal.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance.

  • Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to think through complex situations to troubleshoot equipment and tooling. Ability to deal with standardized situations with complex variables.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and work order systems.

  • Able to lift heavy objects using hoists, hand trucks conveyors and/or lifting equipment.

  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a group or individual setting. Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to follow verbal and written instructions well. Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays on demand.

  • Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.

  • Troubleshoot and repair production tooling.

  • Work without direct supervision.

  • Able to effectively use tools and measuring equipment
