Kelly Services is searching for a Service Technician in the Eagleville, PA area!

Title: Service Technician
Location: Eagleville, PA
Shift: 2nd Shift (M-F )(3:30p-Midnight)
Rate: $21/Hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Present a professional and courteous image to customers, tactfully handling telephone inquiries.
- Assist customers with issues via telephone/email correspondence.
- Quote prices and take orders for spare parts not covered under warranty.
- Continuously strive to improve skills through training.
- Perform necessary service on all products, maintaining a good understanding of current flashlight technology.
- Aim to become a specialist in specific products or product lines.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering for complex repairs.
- Train ASC personnel in operation and service of selected products.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality.
- Provide detailed service estimates and initiate follow-up calls.
- Handle sensitive payment information securely.
- Complete all required fields in the Service Software accurately.
- Ensure documentation on all products is accurate and complete.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of assembly and/or repair experience.
- Basic understanding of electronic theory (preferred).
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics from a two-year college or technical school (preferred).
- Proficient in testing and repair of electronic equipment, including the use of soldering irons, Digital Multi-meters, and various hand/power tools.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
- Excellent communication skills, both one-on-one and via email/telephone.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Frequently exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.
- Noise levels can vary from moderate to loud.
