Job Post: Warehouse Supervisor

2nd Shift

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient material flow, and maintain high-quality standards. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing warehouse staff, monitoring shipments, and ensuring that all operations are completed efficiently and within budget.

Job Responsibilities:

The following duties are essential for this position. Note that this list is not exhaustive, and additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

  1. Create Production Reports and Summaries:

    • Obtain all necessary information to create comprehensive production reports.


  2. Participate in Production Meetings:

    • Discuss issues related to material flow and personnel with the production team.


  3. Supervise Warehouse Staff:

    • Ensure tasks are completed timely and according to specific guidelines.


  4. Order Supplies:

    • Order all necessary supplies for warehouse operations while maintaining budget constraints.


  5. Control Quality Issues:

    • Manage and document both internal and external quality issues with parts.


  6. Monitor Shipments and Audits:

    • Ensure shipments, audits, and packing processes are of the highest quality and efficiency.


  7. Vendor Communication:

    • Contact O.S. vendors to track parts as needed.


  8. Assist in Sorting and Packaging:

    • Provide support in sorting and packaging operations.


  9. Assist in Quality Issue Sorting:

    • Help re-sort parts with quality issues.


  10. Truck Loading/Unloading:

    • Unload and load trucks as required.


  11. Operate and Maintain Equipment:

    • Operate and maintain Stand-Up Hi-Lifts and other warehouse equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including Stand-Up Hi-Lifts.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Salary:  $60,000 annually
