Pay rate and Shift
Job Duration: 12+ Month
Shift:  Mon to Fri Hybrid (3 day onsite )

Job Summary:
We are looking for someone to support the procurement project manager with a range of responsibilities.
This position is responsible for sourcing execution in  systems Coupa, communication with internal and externals, source to pay process, as well as updating project procurement plans and maintenance of activities in support of the project organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Create a procurement strategy
Create a detailed procurement plan
Create a project procurement sourcing process
Lead all the activities within the sourcing process and ensure cooperation with key stakeholders, from suppliers courting, selection and approval, contracting and invoicing
Planning and execution of sourcing events including RFP/ RFXs, negotiations to best meet the business requirements for value, speed, compliance, risk.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to the policies, standards and relevant compliance. ü Develop and use bid evaluation framework.
Incorporate advanced evaluation techniques such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and risk assessment.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to sourcing activities, market insights, and bid evaluations.
Ensure that all sourcing activities follows the procurement policy and sourcing strategy agreed beforehand.
TOP 3 MUST HAVES:
Project procurement experience in large CAPEX projects
Pharma experience in GMP or none GMP
 Negotiation experience
Supplier management
Proactively address and resolve issues that arise in supplier performance
Negotiation and contract management:
Negotiate high-complexity contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers (with legal support).
Manage contract documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to drive initiatives and achieve project objectives.
Actively share and seek input in decision-making from appropriate sources.
Invoicing follow up: Collaborate with cost controller and procurement team to verify that invoices align with purchase orders, contract deliverables and the project plan. Support project manager to monitor and oversee change order approval process. Address and resolve issues related to contracts, purchase orders, invoices and change orders.
Reporting in Power BI: develop and maintain standardized project management reports in Microsoft Power BI, Teams or Excel.
Project planning:
develop a high-level project plan detailing the project scope, work packages, timeline, milestones, governance, roles and responsibilities, risks, and resource allocation. Critical path analysis.
Oversee project knowledge and information repositories, as well as facilitate the onboarding of new team members.
Stakeholder management: proficient in gathering insights to develop a stakeholder list, analysis, and a plan for involving and informing various stakeholders.
Define strategies for consistently engaging and aligning stakeholders. Capable of recognizing when stakeholder involvement and engagement are necessary, particularly when unforeseen challenges arise.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or a related field, from an accredited university required, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
May consider an associate’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in procurement, CAPEX projects, pharmaceutical industry
Experience and track record in an equivalent role leading sourcing activities within comparable categories
Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, etc.) preferred.
Experience working in large and matrixed organizations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong command of Teams, PowerPoint, Power BI and Excel.
Travel to project site in Waltham as needed.
