  • Work with advanced CNC machines, including Haas, Hardinge, Okuma, and Takisawa lathes and mills.

What’s a typical day as a CNC Operator? You’ll be:

  • Interpreting engineering drawings to understand tolerances of the parts to be machined.

  • Operating CNC machines to meet parts per hour requirements.

  • Preform quality checks on parts ran using precision measuring instruments.

  • Make minor programing adjustments and offsets to meet quality standards and hold tolerances.

  • Preform preventive maintenance on mills.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Possess the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

  • Have a basic understanding of CNC operations, including G and M code

  • Understand basic shop math, including decimal/fraction conversion.
