Now Hiring!- Material Handler – Receiving Clerk and Assembly Line Support
Location: Newington,CT
Pay: $19/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
Verify paperwork and prepare Building labels as necessary.
Process Goods Receipts in SAP for incoming shipments.
Coordinate any shipping issues with the relevant staff in each building.
Occasionally support Receiving functions in Building 2.
Record stock transactions, including receiving parts into stock, issuing parts to production orders, and adjusting stock counts, using SAP and PC or barcode scanners.
Count all parts going in and out of stock accurately.
Unpack packages and stock parts on storage shelves.
Fill transport carts and deliver to work centers safely and efficiently.
Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization in storage areas.
Work independently with minimal supervision, identifying and addressing potential problems efficiently.
Be capable of standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Perform other related duties as designated by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Experience with SAP preferred.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Must be flexible to work in both receiving and assembly line roles.
