Machine Assembler
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (always potential for OT)
Pay:
$23.00/hour
Position Overview:This role involves complex machine assembly tasks, requiring precise attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.Principle Duties & Responsibilities:The duties below outline the general nature of this position. They are not exhaustive; employees may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.
- Perform complex assembly.
- Measure in inch and metric units.
- Work from blueprints, part lists, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Improve related processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and working conditions.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Work overtime if needed.
- Attend applicable meetings and implement resulting decisions.
- Follow and enforce company rules and regulations.
- Support SYNCHRO processes.
- Adhere to quality standards.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years experience in machine tool assembly or 5 years in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
- Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists.
- Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with accurate measuring devices essential.
- Electrical wiring assembly experience and computer literacy are a plus.
- Forklift license is a plus.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
