Kelly Services is seeking experienced Construction Admin Asst, with certified payroll experience, in Chicago, 60606. Candidates must have construction admin and certified payroll experience.

This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Shifts and pay available:
$25 – $31/hr., depending on experience
Monday – Thursday, 9-5 or 6pm depending on the day
Friday 9am- 1pm

Job details:
Detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by providing administrative support and managing various tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in office software, and have a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Compile Closeout Binders. Draft contracts and change orders for project trades.
Collate Bid Binders with bid proposals from all awarded sub-contractors. Collate Contract Binders with all executed contracts from all sub-contractors.
Manage Certified Payroll documentation. Upload photos to CDs for all completed JOC projects.
Collect certificates of insurance from sub-contractors and distribute our certificate of insurance for all new projects.
Inventory and order necessary office supplies.
Work with our IT consultants on ordering and setting up new laptops when needed.
Work with our cell phone representative to order new cell phones and wireless routers for jobsites.
Answer the main phone line when required.
Prepare UPS labels and ensure timely and accurate shipment of packages.
Generating contracts and change orders, sending them up, following up, and reviewing and submitting certified payroll.
70% of the clients submit through a tracker, but for the government jobs, manually scan and send in, for City of Chicago and veteran affairs.
Not preparing the payroll more certifying it.
Pretty laid back, friendly environment, business casual and very small team oriented.

Qualifications/Experience:
Administrative Assistant with construction and certified payroll experience
Sage 300
Contracts, charging of accounts, COI’S
